From the Neuse River in North Carolina to the Duwamish River in Washington State, ESC is a source of technical expertise for community groups affected by environmental contamination across the country.

About

Environmental Stewardship Concepts, one of a few American professional environmental consulting firms to represent community organizations, was founded in 1996 by Dr. Peter deFur. Based in Richmond, Virginia, ESC provides technical assistance and consulting services that prioritize the public good and sustained environmental quality. As technical experts for community organizations that are concerned with both Superfund Site contamination and cleanup, our services are often solicited through Technical Assistance Grants (TAG) and Technical Assistance for Public Participation (TAPP) grants issued by the US Government, EPA, as well as other state and local petitions for expertise in hazardous waste and site remediation.
